To remove flash, burrs, or scale, MIS provides shot blasting for surface preparation & cleaning on both ferrous & non-ferrous components. In addition to shot blasting, MIS provides shot peening to relieve stress in the surface area of parts.

With a 50 cubic foot capacity, with a wide range of equipment, MIS can finish small to large parts. For those Parts requiring a more specific process due to size or other attributes, MIS offers a spinner hanger process.

Also included in surface preparation is manual glass beading. This process provides a finer finish using non contaminating, nonmetallic media.
